Pakistani openers Imran Nazir and Muhammad Hafiz gave a solid start to Pakistan by scoring the fastest fifty by the opening partnership in a T20 match. Imran Nazir hit 72 of 36 balls and Hafeez made 45 of 47 balls. Bangladesh elected to bat after winning the toss and scored 176 runs. Shakib Al Hasan hit the highest individual score by a Bangladeshi in all Twenty20 cricket to propel his team to a challenging 175-6 in their must-win group D clash against Pakistan on Tuesday.
