River Island Kids

Last week when two of my daughters were in a state of euphoria over the River Island sale, one of them had the bright idea of letting Charlie look at the kids clothes.  I was busy at the time and heard mutterings of "all that stuff for 33 quid" so just handed over my card (as you do). Anyway the order arrived yesterday and I have to say I am impressed.
I haven't taken a lot of notice of the River Island childrens range as Charlie is quite big for his age and at 11 years old has been wearing an age 12 in designer clothes since he was 10 and as I knew from my last Bluewater trip that they only go up to an Age 12, I dismissed them completely.
Silly move, the 11-12 year clothing is very generous in size and I have to confess I do buy a few High Street items for him each season.  He can't go right through the summer holidays in designer garb when he is playing footie round a friends house or whilst leaving the apartment and walking to the supermarket in Marbella.  There are times when a few purse friendly t-shirts are called for if you don't want to ruin the more expensive items in your cool dudes wardrobe.  So here they are, all picked by Charlie himself, but that get the thumbs up from me as these will all fit next year, without doubt.

Not so sure I would have picked the funky shorts, but I'm sure you will agree, some fab pieces to see him through the holidays and all six pieces for only £33!  All we need now is some sun!

Charlie and I were both impressed that the blue "Monaco" vest top came with these black bracelets, just the sort of thing his Dad wears!
