Have you heard of Liz Edmunds, The Food Nanny? Well, she is my new best friend. Sorry, Ash, Mom, Hubby or anyone else who thought they were my best friend. ;)
Not only is The Food Nanny giving away her wonderful cookbook to a lucky Crafty Cousins reader, but she has made me a rock star in my kitchen! Seriously. Her recipes are so practical and real-life, but delicious at the same time. I love that her cookbook makes meal planning easy with theme nights.
I even won our town’s Christmas soup cook off with her Pepper Jack Potato Soup recipe. It is so so yummy!
There it is! :) Sorry about the picture quality. It was taken with my phone.
Do you want to know how I became besties with The Food Nanny? I mean Liz? Last winter the hubs and I got tickets to one of her cooking classes. I got her cookbook and instantly fell in love with it!
Me and my BFF! :)
It’s even autographed!
See?! She loves me! :)
Anyway, a few of our favorite recipes in her book are:
- Macaroni and Cheese Kids Crave
- Three Bean Chili with Sausage
- Biscuits & Sausage Country Gravy
- Buttermilk Waffles
- Quick & Easy Egg Suppers
- Pepper Jack Potato Soup
…and many more. We tried Clam Linguine this week. I was skeptical because I’ve got picky eaters. Guess what?! It was a HUGE hit! All of my boys cleared their plates and had seconds! Thank you, Best Friend Food Nanny! :)
Her website even has a Nanny Plan to help you plan out your meals!
