Mama's Mission of the Month (September)

So here we are in the month of September and I have some things on my to-do list. Being new to homeschooling, and with a little one on the way, I am trying to be creative with my tasks around the house. I'm not sure how well it's going yet, but I have a rough schedule made up and a few things I want to check off my list before the winter comes.

Anyway, accountability is a huge motivator for me. So, I am linking up with Mama Jen for my Mission of the Month for September.

Mission of the MonthTask 1-Clean Laundry Room: I did this once before (see HERE). However, in the months leading up to starting our homeschool, the laundry room became a "storage room." While my husband was working on getting our school room together, I needed a place store schooling materials and school room items. Needless to say, things are now a bit disheveled! (Also, one of our dogs, poor little Biscuit, died this summer. Our dogs' dishes are in the laundry room and I hadn't had the heart to move her bowl just yet. But, I think it's time now.)

Task 2-Get Back to Crochet: I have always had a love for crochet because of my sweet GrandMommy and my Auntie. I've made quite a few pieces over the years, but it's been quite a while since I've taken the time to complete a project. My goal is to begin an afghan for my living room in fall colors (click HERE to see). I love decorating for the fall and this afghan goes well with my couch pillows. Also, I want to start on a baby blanket for my little bundle who's on his way. My son says that the baby's blanket should be black or green. . .LOL! I'm pretty sure I'm leaning towards the green!

So that's it for now. I'll be back next month to let you know if my tasks are complete or not. If you want to join in the fun, head on over to Mama Jen's to link up!
