Another Year

So I celebrated a birthday this week and I am so grateful to God for His kindness toward me!



My children asked me, "Mommy, how old are you now? What's your number?" Which, of course, is a question children are asked all the time. Why wouldn't they ask me the same?! So, I shared with them "my number" which they thought was so big! Let's just say I think I'm still pretty young! LOL

On my birthday, I was showered with lots of love, lots of hugs and kisses. My younger daughter wrote me a special note in her sweet, kindergarten penmanship! Throughout the day, my son kept coming up to me with imaginary birthday presents; he'd say, "Here you go Mommy! It's a present! Happy birthday!" My oldest daughter and Husband got together birthday cards for me, which were really funny!! What a sense of humor! Husband took me out to dinner for a small family celebration; the fried catfish hit the spot!



I received such loving phone calls from my family and from a great friend of mine. Also, such sweet messages from friends and family online. I think my face ached from smiling so much and my throat was sore from talking and laughing all day! Thanks to my family and friends for a sweet birthday!



Thank You Lord for all You've done for me!
